I have worked on several occasions in private duty nursing. I spent 20 years in Honduras as a missionary and 11 of those years I was involved in managing a small rural clinic and hospital. After returning to the United States, I served 13 years as school nurse at Union Bible College and Academy, where I am currently employed. I am also working part time as a Spanish nurse consultant for Circle Wellness.

By showing the compassion of Christ and professional medical skill, I try to make a difference in the lives of my patients.
What made you choose a career in nursing?
God directed me into the field of nursing and gave me a love and compassion for hurting and sick people. The college that I attended had a missionary nursing program and I graduated from it. I really love serving people.
What motivates you at the start of each day?
My personal time alone with God motivates me every morning to see how I can help others.
