I currently work in a Rural Hospital in Texas as a Respiratory Therapist, Director of Respiratory and Compliance Officer.
I have been in Respiratory therapy for 24 years and feel confident in my role in the Emergency Room as well as Critical care areas.
I have a passion and apply my knowledge in providing patients with treatment and education in their disease process to improve their daily living.
I have worked in ER, Critical care and general geriatric and pediatric care. I perform Diagnostics in Respiratory Therapy as well.
I have recently taken on the Director of Respiratory position at WCMH and am increasing my job knowledge and skill to include a position as Compliance officer.
I look forward to working in administrative role as well as keeping my passion in the Respiratory field and taking care of patients.

How do you try to make a difference in the lives of your patients?
I have a passion to promote well being in their disease process
Many patients have chronic life altering condition, I strive to provide patients with my knowledge and educate them to live a fuller life with a chronic condition
Educate them on treatment and prevention from severe lung infections, flu and other triggers that affect their disease process

While in my Junior year in high school I became a Staffer at church camps, to assist in teaching and directing children for the Baptist Association

I was involved and member of local Beta Sigma Phi chapter, a non academic sorority dedicated to service of others, we performed

My older sister entered medical field as a nurse and she supported me as I entered and completed my License in Respiratory. I applied for couple of programs in 1990-1991 and was accepted into the Respiratory Program as 1 out of 50 applicants accepted into a 15 person class.
I developed a passion as an RT in school for helping people and contribute my success to the patients in my community that I can improve their quality of life.
I attribute my success from the enjoyment of seeing my patients being able to live to their fullest with education and treatment i can provide.
My passion and enjoyment in RT field drove me as I became one of four students selected to also work at Washington Regional Medical Center Fayettville,
Arkansas during the completion of course studies.
