Neil M. Borden, MD is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology and has been practicing for over 30 years. He completed his residency in radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, NYC, a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Neurological Institute of New York at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and a fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology (Endovascular Neurosurgery) at the Barrow Neurological Institute, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is credited with many oral and poster presentations at national meetings and multiple peer-reviewed articles.

Dr. Borden has published multiple textbooks in the field of neuroradiology including:

He is presently an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Vermont Medical Center. During the last 10 years, his interests have shifted to the study of cerebral anatomy in addition to the education and training of radiology residents and fellows.

Hedvig Hricak, MD

Hedvig Hricak, MD, PhD, DRHC, is Chairperson of the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center in New York City. In 2010, she also received the distinct honor of becoming the 95th President of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Board of Directors. Her specialty is cross-sectional anatomic and molecular imaging of genitourinary cancers. She is a prominent clinician and researcher and the principal investigator of an NIH-funded study on the use of MRI and MR spectroscopy for risk assessment in prostate cancer patients. Hricak travels to countries in need of medical attention and gives women breast ultrasound imaging, while simultaneously giving training to local physicians.

Dr. Hricak has edited and Co-Edited 27 books, and authored/co-authored 131 monographs and book chapters. Her books, which mainly focusing on imaging techniques, cover a wide range of topics from prostate cancer and gynecology, to Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques for various organs of the body.

Founder and President of San Diego Heart and Medical Clinic, Jack J. Kleid, MD, has been providing cardiologic care to Southern California for the last 30 years. Arthur S. Leon, MD, MS, FACC, FACSM, has had an extremely impressive career that began in 1957 after receiving his medical degree University of Wisconsin Medical School. He then went on to complete his internship in 1958 at Henry Ford Hospital, and his residency in 1960 at the Lahey Clinic. While finishing school and establishing a career in medicine, Dr. Leon served the country as a Medical officer, US Army Reserve from 1957 to 1991; obtaining highest rank, Colonel MC. His outstanding career is still thriving; he is the Chief Cardiologist of the Heart Disease Prevention Clinic and Director of laboratory of Physiological Hygiene and Exercise Science, in Minnesota.

Dr. Leon has written/contributed to several books in the fields of cardiology and psychology; including Coronary Heart Disease: A Behavioral Perspective and Physical Activity and Cardiovascular Health: A National Consensus. The latter ismade up of several authors and compiled by the National Institute of Health. Dr. Leon is the main editor and author of thepreface and a chapter. Dr. Leon is also a contributor to the book Treating Eating Disorders: Obesity, Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia. This book is part of the Lewis Series in Applied Clinical Psychology.

Blair created the character of Woogie the wombat and his friends, who are scared to go to the dentist. Dr. McNinch added his side of the story based on his own dental experiences. The goal of the book is to make children realize that the dentist is a friend, not an enemy. Children learn what a first trip to the dentist is like, not knowing until the end how Woogie reacts and if he decides to go back to the dentist.
